There is an odd mis-match between batting and bowling with team England. On one end, batting is steady, with a good partnerships – but then there is the bowling which won't have the best start and will be pressurised because of basic errors. Despite this, England will know how to pull themselves together during moments that matter.

The Captain – Stuart Broad
A little moody, Broad has to be careful of trying to be too wise, and too planned. A little aggression and impulsive captaincy could keep them favourites.

New Zealand
Sometimes a strong opposition can enforce errors, whereas today, team New Zealand could add to their own problems. Silly mistakes, errors in judgement and leaving too much to do could all contribute to a tough match. Batting will show some dips, but it's the bowling in the latter half that will have to show better application. Fielding will need to be much improved.

The Captain – Brendon McCullum
McCullum has a lot of right ideas in place, but it's the execution in the latter half that will challenge him the most.
