ODI 3 - Who Will It Be?

India Vs West Indies
3rd ODI – 27 November, 2013 - Kanpur

India
The previous game has left the team a little flustered and unfortunately they carry the same energy through. India will manage to ease themselves back and feed off the smallest of positivity. Batting will require better application – even if it means slowing down and accelerating when necessary because over enthusiasm will go against them. Bowling appears better as good bowling partnerships will provide results. Fielding will have to maintain the good start throughout.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Dhoni will go with the flow (despite being secretly nervous). He is prepared to work hard, take it slow and follow through with composure.

West Indies
On the other hand, West Indies are upbeat and have regained some self-belief. Translating this into action will be their challenge. Batting will not start off so well, but they will apply themselves to see their innings mature. Bowling will be patchy, but they will work very hard on keeping it together. Fielding will start off aggressively only to become inconsistent.

The Captain – Dwayne Bravo
Bravo's captaincy will be instinctive, quick thinking and fresh in his approach. But managing tough situations towards the end will be confusing.

Tarot Advantage:
India

ODI 2 - India Vs West Indies

India Vs West Indies
2nd ODI – 24 November, 2013 - Visakhapatnam

India
The confidence and hunger is evident in Team India. Their plans are balanced and smart, but will it all be such a smooth ride? Batting starts off and develops well, but maintaining this till the end will require better application. Whereas bowling will start off expensively but it will settle well and gain better control.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
He may start off looking flustered but he will develop composure, steady himself with his plans and execute them in the usual Dhoni manner.

West Indies
A soft approach and varying confidence will not do the West indians any good. Their batting and bowling will be more balanced but it will need to be more aggressive for it to make an impact. Fielding will come under immense pressure. Overall the team will be inconsistent requiring better team work.

The Captain – Dwayne Bravo
There is enthusiasm and the desire to take risks yet effective plans are not in place. Bravo will have to slow himself down, re-think his moves and then act.

Tarot Advantage:
India

The ODIs Begin!

India Vs West Indies
1st ODI – 21 November, 2013 - Kochi

India
Being unrealistic will lead to unnecessary pressures for Team India. It will be their aggressive intent and quick thinking that will help them maintain a healthy hold on the game. Unfortunately, bowling will not be in-sync, but it will be steadier during the middle overs. Batting will be a positive battle, in fact, it will have to be as a lot will depend on this area. Fielding will be well balanced.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Dhoni will lead with focus and flexibility. His pro-active decision making will prove to be crucial.

West Indies
At one point West Indies will seem balanced and collected, but then they'll look nervous and edgy. One player will shine through so well, yet another will be drastically opposite. This team does show potential to surprise the opposition as their bowling will display tremendous effort. Whereas despite India's bowling not being too sharp, it will be the West Indian batting that will create self-inflicted issues. Fielding will be smart, aggressive and confident.

The Captain – Dwayne Bravo
Bravo has to put in more thought. Captaincy is just too temperamental – overly aggressive and then overly soft. Consistency in action has to be maintained.

Tarot Advantage
India

Test 2: India Vs West Indies

India Vs West Indies
2nd Test – 14-18 November, 2013 - Mumbai
India
Team India will be on their toes – quick thinking and pro-active. They will look to make this a special game, but anxieties will be quite apparent. Luck will favour them, but they will need to make these opportunities count.

1st Innings
Initial batting will need to be more vigilant as nervousness could trouble them. Latter half of the batting does look stronger. Bowling will be inconsistent, but better aggression will bring results. Fielding will be another inconsistent area.

2nd Innings
Batting is looking focussed, determined and stronger. Bowling equations are more comfortable and result orientated. Fielding will still require better application.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Dhoni feels the nostalgia and may get side tracked in it all. He will regain his composure well, steady the team well and make some good decisions.

West Indies
As a team they will find it hard to gather themselves and show improved team work, but certain individuals will shine through. As the game progresses, their plans will be more effective.

1st Innings
Batting will be aggressive, but unplanned. Although this will work well in patches, but it will be tough for this strategy to give them an upper hand. Bowling will be effective, but they should be weary of over confidence. Fielding will be weaker than usual.

2nd Innings
Batting will not start off too well, but risks will pay off and a fight should be seen. Bowlers will need to develop better focus. Fielding will be a cause for concern.

The Captain – Darren Sammy
Despite feeling the strain, Sammy is looking to be positive and wiser. The key is for him to be more aggressive and quick thinking – this will help put the team in a stronger position.

Tarot Advantage
India

Test 1 - India Vs West Indies

India Vs West Indies
1st Test – 6 - 10 November, 2013. Kolkata, India

India
The team feels quietly confident. They will adapt well, but it will be important for them to not feel defeated by small setbacks.

1st Innings
Batting will bloom through good partnerships, allowing them to build up confidently. Bowling will initially not look up to mark yet will get results, instead it's the latter half of the bowling that will regain confidence. Fielding will have to improve.

2nd Innings
Batting starts off well, but its towards the end that it will get edgy. Bowling will be stronger than expected. Fielding again will have to step up.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Dhoni will have to re-strategise and work harder on his ideas to gain command. Old concepts will not be as effective. His steadiness will be key.

West Indies
West Indies are not applying any pressure on themselves – this may be the problem. Being better focused and aggressive will see them get better results.

1st Innings
Batting does not start off too well – but this will be more their own doing. Gaining stability will be key to moving ahead. Their bowling will be sensible and fresh. They will implement plans well. Fielding will be patchy.

2nd Innings
Batting will be steadier and more confident – becoming over-confident will be a danger. Bowling will be expensive, but will manage to control things well towards the end. Fielding will be patchy.

The Captain – Darren Sammy
Sammy will have to become more aggressive in his captaincy, because he will seem slow in taking action.
