ODI 7 - A Tight One

India Vs Australia
ODI 7 – Saturday, 2nd November, 2013 – Bangalore

India
It's quite a mixed bag (again) from team India. Initial batting will require better focus as it will be easy to get carried away through prior expectations. Henceforth it will be smoother and more confident. Bowling will start off well but it will lose way. Middle over fielding will need to improve.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
There is a hint of disappointment within Dhoni – he will need to keep up his enthusiasm despite the negatives. His creative decision making will prove to be beneficial.

Australia
Australia are a positive but a nervous team. Their initial batting will show strength but maintaining the tempo will require additional effort. Bowlers will extend themselves to achieve results, this too mainly stems from anxiety hence they will have to focus on controlled aggression to be more successful.

The Captain – George Bailey
Bailey will try to control his decisions and channelise them better. But only using the past as an influence will not allow for fresh and inspired thinking. Breaking mental constraints will work better.

Tarot Advantage
A Tight One, but Advantage: India

ODI 6 - Head On!

India Vs Australia
ODI 6 – Thursday, 30th October, 2013 – Nagpur

India
There is aggression, but misdirected, therefore team India will take longer to gain a positive balance. Bowling will start off well, but it will lack direction towards the end. This may effect the team's fielding performance too. Through multiple contributions, batting will be effective.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Dhoni feels like giving up on some aspects of the team's inability to perform consistently. He is choosing to turn a blind eye to some basic issues. Outwardly he is sharp, aggressive and pro-active.

Australia
Instability will trouble Australia's middle over batting - but the beginning and end appears confident. Bowling will lack the final punch and hence may appear softer than expected. Fielding too will be patchy. Overall the team will not find their plans entirely beneficial despite no lack in effort and energy.

The Captain – George Bailey
Immense confidence will allow Bailey to take risks that will pay off, but maintaining this will be tough. In order to be successful he will have to stick to the basics, otherwise the team will appear inconsistent.

Tarot Advantage
Toss will play an important role, but overall Tarot Advantage: India

ODI 5 - Focussed & Aggressive - India Vs Australia

India Vs Australia
ODI 5 – Wednesday, 26th October, 2013 – Cuttack

India
There is coordination and a lot of thought behind today's game. Although some negative tendencies will show, but these will not majorly effect the team's performance. Batting starts and ends well, whereas the middle overs will look uncertain. Bowling will start off expensive but this will be pulled back and better balance will come through.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Outwardly soft, Dhoni is playing this one much calmer than the earlier games. He feels quietly confident and will enforce his ideas with ease.

Australia
A little unsteady at times but aggressive and forceful, team Australia will make a strong fight of this. Their batting will start off well but better application towards the end will be required. Bowling will be strong but expensive – this aggression will prove to be a positive.

The Captain – George Bailey
Bailey has the right plans, but implementation will be tougher than usual. A focus on working out/changing bowling and batting combinations will prove to be beneficial.

Tarot Advantage
India

ODI 4: Another Come-back?

India Vs Australia
ODI 4 – Wednesday, 23rd October, 2013 – Ranchi

India
Team India are not putting any unhealthy pressure on themselves, instead they seem firmly focussed and ready to enjoy the game. All this is great, but will their bowling problems subside in this game? Another patchy bowling performance where some extreme positives and extreme negatives are likely to continue. Consistency will be tough to come-by. Batting will have some good partnerships; here too the team will lose their way a little, but will manage to regain in time.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Dhoni is looking confident, but he will go through some major mental blocks. Quick and aggressive decision making will see him out of this and into a stronger position.

Australia
Team Australia have overly emphasised the importance of this game hence they feel they have more at stake. Outwardly they will seem confident, aggressive and balanced but some basic errors will throw them off from time to time. Batting and bowling start off steadily yet their finishing will be weaker. They will have to maintain their focus and feed off their hard-work.

The Captain – George Bailey
It's as if Bailey will smell blood and would want to just go for the kill – but slowing down will be more sensible. By rushing himself and his team he may confuse situations; this may even lead to some fielding concerns.

Tarot Advantage
Another tough game, but with a slight edge it's Tarot Advantage: India

ODI 3 - Time to Compete

India Vs Australia
ODI 3 – Saturday, 19th October, 2013 – Mohali

India
It's a temperamental team India where batting will be consistent, but it's the bowling that will remain wayward (although there will be quite an improvement from the previous games). In order to succeed, they will need to adopt a calmer approach.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Dhoni will step up, get more aggressive and look to gain more control over the game. This will happen, but in parts. His captaincy may not be as dominating, but a basic hold will be achieved.

Australia
Team Australia will display great strength. Their batting will have a good start but then will find themselves having to work harder to build on this. Bowling will initially seem weaker, only to fight back in the latter half.

The Captain – George Bailey
Bailey will be experimental and won't shy away from taking risks. Although this is a positive thought, some ideas will require restraint as they would be quite unrealistic.

Tarot Advantage
India
