KKR look confident and at ease for most part of the game, simply because they understand that this will be a tough fight. They're willing to build their innings strongly but will not be able to maintain this. There is a slump in their batting and their initial bowling effort.

The Captain – Gautam Gambhir
A great start to the day for Gambhir, but not the most promising finish. He will need to be more realistic and more steady in his decision making in the second half.

Chennai Super Kings
The Super Kings will need to maintain simplicity in executing their plans – especially as confusion will plague them periodically. They will be aggressive from the onset and will take the challenge head on. Batting may appear inconsistent at times.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
There will be quite a dependency on Dhoni remaining stable and leading the way. He will not have a problem doing so, but he will require more support to see the team get through.

Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB will not have the most ideal start, but they will pick this up by taking more risks, being more aggressive and wanting to charge the opposition out of the game. Their bowling will appear temperamental, whereas other areas will be confident.

The Captain – Virat Kohli
Kohli will need to steady his mind very quickly and will need to listen to advice from the coaches as they will provide an important tip which could lead to a crucial turning point. He will be aggressive and be quick to change ideas making the situation more beneficial.

Rajasthan Royals
The Royals are going to take on RCB head on. Their team work and simplicity will work in their favour as it has done. Fielding will prove to be weak at times, which could hurt them. It will also be important for the team to trust their game plan as they may appear unnecessarily flustered.

The Captain – Rahul Dravid
Captain Dravid will have to work harder to see this match come through in their favour. In the first half, he will feel confused and may not react quick enough. The second half is more promising for his plans to see success. A tough day.
