Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR are ready – they're seem aggressive and will look to have an attacking start to their opening game. They wish to maintain consistency in this tournament and stamp their authority from the onset. Despite this attitude, they will find it difficult to continue this momentum through out the game.




The Captain

Gautam Gambhir will think quickly and look to execute plans at the same pace, but this may not be the wisest way forward as he may feel rushed and under pressure to change the opposition's momentum. Overall Gambhir is on the right track but if he just slows himself down a bit he will be a more successful captain this IPL.

Delhi Daredevils

The Daredevils appear comfortable. They are being realistic and will look to ease themselves in this competition. This will allow them to push their simple game plans more easily and with larger success. They will lack bowling consistency but this will be balanced out through the occasional wicket.

The Captain

Mahela Jayawardene is a little nervous and may require team assistance in easing the evident concerns he will reflect. He will need to be reminded of discussed plans – this will keep him on track, allowing him to maintain a strong fight back.
