It's a mixed day for the Mumbai Indians – they will have a weak start and will be apprehensive of sticking to their game plans. This anxiety will soon subside through risks that will pay off well. They will initially do well on the field, but will have to be watchful towards the end as they will spill additional runs.

The Captain – Ricky Ponting
Ponting looks confident and encouraging. His balance and poise will rub off on the team resulting in good bowling and batting combinations.

Pune Warriors India
Their first win of the tournament has brought in a lot of positivity – this will be reflected in their game play today too. Their balance will look better and so will their confidence, but this will be short-lived. They will be unsure of what strategy to adopt and will lose their way.

The Captain – Angelo Mathews
Mathews will start off well, but he will lose confidence in his ideas – he will need to retain his confidence if he's to instil any faith in his players. He will need to be more pro-active if he is to see his team succeed.

Chennai Super Kings
Super Kings will have a cautious start, yet they shouldn't be as the opposition will pick up on this and will capitalise. They will need to be more confident of their plans as their lack of conviction could get them into trouble.

The Captain – Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Too much will depend on Dhoni's strategies and his quick changes. He will keep the team together and will see that his ideas are being implemented correctly – but certainly a tough task as his team may struggle.

Royals Challengers Bangalore
Weaknesses will also be evident in Bangalore, but they will be quicker to realise this and will change to show better balance. They will need to be careful of not giving away too many runs with their bowling – this will happen because they will be anxious of the opposition's batsmen.

The Captain – Virat Kohli
Kohli's captaincy will be instinctive and intelligent. He will need to keep this up right to the end especially as he is displaying some weaknesses towards the latter half of second innings.
