Tarot Perspective:

Upcoming Series:

England Vs Australia - The Investec Ashes
5 Tests - 10th July to 25th August 2013

Mental Strength:
Alastair Cook will be multi-faceted – he will have the right dose of aggression, hunger and stability in him to not be bogged down under some certain pressures this series. He may believe that he has enough time to strategies, whereas he will need to be more pro-active in implementing his plans. He will have the tendency to feel depressed and highly anxious which is why it will be even more important for him to not leave drafting his ideas till the last minute. This is important as it is his ability to pre-plan that will keep him at ease and allow him to remain mentally stronger than most.

Captaincy:
Keeping the team well informed and strongly equipped will be a major strength, but he will be at fault for being too soft on his own players. It will be important for Cook to demand more belief and aggression, especially as negative moments will lower the team's moral.

Batting:
Cook will do well with the bat this series, but yet he will be dissatisfied. His hunger to score runs and dominate will be quit evident yet this won't always be as easy. Rough patches and the need to apply himself will be quite obvious. His instinctive inclinations will help him understand and mould himself to the situation - seeing him through to a successful series.

Tarot Tip: Avoid unnecessary arguments that reflect agitation as this weakness will be exploited by the opposition.
